It is not an unusual issue for women to experience hair loss. One study discovered that 34% of women in the U.K., the U.S., and Japan reported an increase in hair loss. The percentages are higher than those in a similar study done half a decade ago. Different people can experience hair loss due to a variety of reasons because each person is unique in his or her own way. It is a crucial step for hair loss treatment to visit a doctor with expertise in diagnosing hair loss issues. Some doctors prescribe lavender for their patients.

The Lavandula or lavender is one of 39 varied species of flowering plants that are natives of the region of the Mediterranean south of tropical Africa and India’s south-eastern regions. The name of this hair loss treatment flower also refers to the colour of the petals. Many gardens are known have lavender growing in them.

Dried flower arrangements are made from the flower spikes of the lavender. The flower buds and purple flowers of this hair loss treatment ingredient are used in potpourris. And if the plant is dried and kept in packets, which are stored in closets, clothes will be protected from moths. Lavender is also grown for the lavender oil that can be extracted from the flowers. The oil can be used for aromatherapy and acts as a decent antiseptic, aside from the prevention of hair loss.

To make a hair loss treatment tonic with lavender, you need around three drops of lavender oil, cedarwood, rosemary, and thyme essential oils. Put in one-eighth cups of grapeseed and jojoba oils as these are carrier oils that deliver the healing properties to the scalp without irritation. When you stir all the ingredients, their fragrance will fill the air around you. Apply a few drops on your hair every night, especially the areas prone to hair loss, and massage your scalp for three to five minutes.
