Tadalfil goes under the brand name of Cialis. This drug is designed to prevent erectile dysfunction or ED, which becomes apparent when the penis is unable to achieve or maintain an erection due to psychological or physical factors. The drug inhibits a PDE5 enzyme that reduces the flow of blood into the penis, thereby causing an erection and stopping erectile dysfunction.

Cialis is the next superstar in the impotency pill line-up after the original blockbuster, Viagra. This potent pill has sparked new spontaneity in men experiencing erectile dysfunction while in the act of intercourse. The Food and Drug Administration approved the use of Cialis in August 2003. Even though it went on sale, in stores, five years after Viagra, Cialis is giving it a run for its money, because of its long lasting effects. Tadalfil is given a higher rating then Viagra by males because it begins to take effect in around half an hour and lasts up to a day and a half. Viagra takes an hour to show its effects and only lasts for up to four hours.

Before using Cialis, there are some concerns that need addressing. If you are talking to your doctor about treatment with Cialis, be sure to tell him or her about any medication you are taking or about any other disorders you may be suffering from. This will ensure your doctor is aware of any health risks you may be exposed to when taking Cialis. Do not use the drug if you have an allergic reaction to the ingredients. Seek immediate medical help if you have erection lasting for more than four hours, in order to prevent possibly irreversible damage to your penis.
